A Blessing to Generations

September 21, 2022

It’s been a journey from my first pregnancy to the third. During my first pregnancy, I had this unshakeable faith that even though I was at the ER during my first trimester at least 3 times due to bleeding, I knew the baby was going no where. Thank God, my son is here doing great (one of the happiest young men I know). Fast forward to about 3 years later, I conceived and everything was going well until I started spotting on Thanksgiving day. I looked up to God, prayed and asked that He took control. Sadly, I lost the pregnancy but I thank God for giving me the strength through the difficult time.

Just a couple of months later, I conceived, and this time, there was no bleeding, no cramps. Everything going smoothly until I had my first blood work & my OBGYN told me that I’m a carrier of a chromosomal disease called SMA. I was upset in my spirit. On Sunday, one of my pastors (Pst. Yomi) asked me how things were going because she was not oblivious of the whole journey. I told her everything was good, then I said you know what? I had a blood work and…

She prayed and said hold on as she quickly ran to the bookstore to get me this book (40 WEEKS OF NURTURE). Ladies & perhaps gents, I got home and read the book from the front page to the week of my pregnancy (week 13). I was impressed, my faith was renewed, my baby’s test came back negative for SMA. I’m still reading the book and also proclaiming all the good in the book on my 3 year old.

This book is a blessing. Let’s just say this little miss lady has her 18th year birthday gift, ready to be wrapped up🙌. Thank you sister Tolu, you have blessed multiple generations😘

Brought me closer to my bump and God

April 20, 2020

I only started reading this book when I was 24 weeks pregnant after Tolulope had visited our church in Toulouse, France. I started reading at the 24 week point but I also went back to the start and read a few extra pages a week. My pregnancy wasn’t planned and was a very big surprise, and I wasn’t as excited about it as I have been with my previous pregnancies but sitting down with the book and spending time with myself, my bump and God brought me a lot of happiness and I found myself become more calm about the pregnancy and get more excited as the days went by to meet our baby girl who would make us a family of 6 and I really looked forward to picking up the book each week. Thank you very much for gifting me with your wonderful book it is a very special read for a mother to be, I have passed it on to a couple of other pregnant ladies at our church and everyone has said nothing but positive things about it.

More than the Title

December 8, 2018

40 weeks of nurture by Tolu Olumuyiwa is more than just the title. To speak powerfully, meditate earnestly, and pray purposefully over your child of God every week even prior to conception generates nurtured children who become adults ready to be a blessing to many. For this reason, I am proud to be a Mother Nurturer.
